• DESIGNING FOR EXERCISE in conjunction with leading experts in safe approaches for older people for use when exercising or outside, the products can be worn as regular underwear.
• DESIGNED to disperse impact energy away from the hip joints that can occur as a result of a fall. The shields are designed to protect the hip and meet British Standard EN1621-1 for falls from motorcycles. The tread pattern on the shield should be facing away from the hip.
• THE FABRIC in the briefs is a soft combed cotton that is moisture absorbent, breathable and comfortable for all year round wearing.
• THE BRIEFS are designed with flat locked seams, and this reduces irritation to the skin and mitigates pressure points. The gusset is extra wide to allow a gel pad for wearers using the product when cycling. It will also facilitate an incontinence pad if required. The low-profile shields mold well to the body contours when warm and do not impede exercise when being worn.

Manufactured by Delloch Limited from New Zealand, the product comprises a combed cotton-elastane textile brief with a pair of class leading SAS Tec Hip Protector shields which are located over the hip joints.
