Description
Here is a 25-line, 28-cell full-page slate, which means you simply snap your sheet of paper in - and write to your heart's content until it's full ... No more moving the slate down every few lines. Oh yes, and if you get interrupted when you're only half done the page, that'll be no problem either. You can simply leave your entire sheet of paper right inside the slate - where it won't get wrinkled or crumpled. And when you come back to finish writing, you can use the Braille line numbers embossed down the right side of the slate to get lined up where you left off. And yes, our Full-Page Slate does have the guides used for embossing Braille on 3/8" and 1/2" labeling tape - just one more reason why this is the ultimate, all-in-one Braille writing tool! This incredibly cool slate is made of thick, durable plastic. It simply shines when you need to write several pages of Braille at your kitchen table or a desk. But it'll still work just fine on your lap when you're out and about, as long as you treat it with a little TLC when you bring it in your backpack. Plastic slates are also well-known for their ability to produce Braille far quieter than metal ones. So, as you use this large, plastic slate to churn out page after page of notes or assignments, it'll score points with your classmates or co-workers for its super quiet, non-disturbing operation. We're proud to be the first company ever to have produced a slate designed specifically for use with a full-sized (8-1/2" x 11") sheet of North American paper. Those large slates that write on European A4 paper have been around for years, but when you use them on the paper we have over here, you soon discover the slate is too long and too wide; meaning you get no marjin on the left or right, and the bottom two lines write right off the paper!
